Twenty

Happy Anniversary to this man... the love of my life.
He puts up with me and my antics, allows me the freedom to be myself, loves my quirks (of which there are many!), always keeps me laughing, is a great father to our boys, and can still make me weak in the knees with one kiss!

I can hardly believe it's been 20 years! Surely I must have been a teenage bride, because I cannot be THAT old! But what a wonderful 20 years it has been... here's to 20 more!

My eleven year old has a "bucket list".

Apparently, my son has made a list of things he needs to do during his lifetime so on our last vacation he informed us that going to the top of a lighthouse was on his list. Well, as luck would have, there's a great lighthouse on Hunting Island so during our last trip to the coast, we made sure he was able to make it to the top. Not sure if this is a real list, or something he announces when he sees something he wants to do!

Tongue rolling

"Look Mama, I can roll my tongue!"
Apparently, Ripken found his new talent and was quite impressed with himself. Looks more like tongue flipping, but hey, who am I to judge.

The Wedding

Last week we were able to travel to the Lowcountry to attend a beautiful wedding for the daughter of dear friends. What a fabulous time we all had and how wonderful to catch up with friends we haven't seen in way too long! Yes, it made me homesick!

This last picture is of Ridge and his latest crush whom he has declared "hot". Sorry, Ridge, she's 18 and headed off to college. He does have great taste though!

Catching Up...

I cannot believe it's been so long since I've updated. We've been really busy with baseball, camps, vacations, and just enjoying the summer break. We recently had a wonderful trip to Panama City Beach (we got there before the oil and tar balls came ashore). What fun we had with the beach, the pools, parasailing, gator boat riding, putt-putting, good food, and good times. We were even able to squeeze in a little baseball!

River's a T-Ball graduate

We had River's end of season team party at the Gwinnett Braves game. The boys had hotdogs and cake in the VIP section and got to go out on the field to get autographs from the players. I think the parents enjoyed it as much as the kids. That always makes for a great party.
